Personality:

Even when she is only thirteen years old, May is oddly mature for her age. She speaks with manners and talks in a polite tone with almost everyone she meets. Given from her background, she honestly believes that she had no childhood and she considers herself as an adult. A lesser adult that only serves God and others when necessary. Because of this, she doesn't think much on herself and tries not to absorb too much into personal interests. She will have difficulties making her own decisions without some critical thinking.

Her kindness still is quite impressive and being able to keep serious even in most situations. The endurance she gained over the years is strong as even little inconveniences such as stubbing her toe doesn't bother her at all. Her days as a housework servant taught her that along with various skills: cleaning, cooking, fencing from one cousin, and having a large understanding of advanced vocabulary. Even when she wasn't considered as one, she kept an air as being a perfect servant.

It's also odd compared to most children her age, May is very absorbed into religion even before being taken into the mission. Religion was her only source of comfort during the long days of abuse from her birth family. She truly believes that the voice giving a personal mission was God and the word from the Bible should be embraced, but she does leave room for other meanings and some rules are outdated. Of course, she keeps things on a balanced train of thought. Messages on love, kindness, and charity are important to her. She wishes to spread the positive messages of Christianity and believes that everyone is equal among the mixed cultures of America. She also takes her personal mission from God very seriously as it mixes to what type of people she dislikes.

May cannot stand greedy people even when she knows when to keep her mouth shut. Selfish people usually get an empty stare compared to her usual soft gaze. She tries to fights against it by sharing food and things with the other children when possible and while putting emphasis on it in hopes that the adults will catch on. May keeps careful with her words and even she did get punished, she shows no tears and endures it. It could be said that she doesn't feel pain at all, but it's not completely true. She just mastered how to mask it and become used to it from past tortures. She also doesn't wish to despite greedy people or her past family, as hate is a conflict that she doesn't wish to struggle with along with the other struggles of her life. Dislike is fine, but hatred is on another level. With her personal mission, she reminds herself to stay in the light and let God bring judgement to the souls that she drags into the light.

While kind and humble with keeping her beliefs at heart, May is a little girl in the shoes of an adult. Her maturity and endurance are impressive, but a lack of having a true family and a proper childhood leaves struggles in her heart. She doesn't mind enduring pain, but deep down, all she asks for sometimes is a moment of peace.

AU INFORMATION

AU Backstory:

A child born with her mother dying in childbirth and her father getting killed in a car accident when rushing to the hospital to be with his wife on the birth of their first child. Taking her family name and the name "May" as it was the unfortunate month for birth, May was taken in by stricter relatives on her mother's side.

Once she was able to walk, communicate, and act properly, her life spiraled down to cruel treatment. May was put to work among the servants of the household. She quickly learned how to clean, cook, and do various chores to avoid punishment. Among her large group of cousins, she usually works fine with them and is even the sparring partner for Vincent, the eldest male cousin, who is a champion fencer. However, a few of her more cruel cousins do attempt to find ways to ruin her work or get her punished in general as a source for entertainment. Getting bullied and enduring abuse on a daily basis, May took comfort into something when she gets to rest in a cramp closet with a pillow and a thin blanket: religion.

Discovering a dusty old Bible, May took reading it over again and again. It's not for entertainment, but she took the chance to learn it's messages and it's meanings. She absorbs into the words when she is not working and it gave her reassurance for her future. A hope that one day, she will get peace in her life and she will survive so many trials.

Vincent left for college as years pass by, but May still endured harsh punishments as she works almost all day serving the family. She gained scars from whippings on her palms for being accused of stealing something. Her thighs have various scars from stabbings when her uncle needed to vent. Since she was so used to pain, May just cleaned herself up after the physical abuse and moved on. A neighbor reported the family to the police after noticing May's bandages and bruises, which led to the arrest of the heads of the family while May went into custody of child services.

Few months later, she was taken by the Shepherd of Our Flock Mission and while it's not perfect, May embraced it as it was a less cruel trial of survival than her previous situation. She was a top role model among the group, quoting Bible verses from memory that left impressions on some of the adults and helping the younger children by giving moral support and reassuring that one day, they will be free.

Time passes and May could hear sounds of children weeping, even when nobody was crying around her. She prays to God if they are the cries of angels weeping for them, which she gains a strange feeling as she received a response, but was still confused on the meaning. One evening, May volunteered to go into the Black Chapel willingly to the adults as she "wants to speak to God alone" and they allowed her until they drag in another child for punishment. In the silent darkness, May leans against one of the walls and prays. The weeping returns and she could feel that she wasn't truly alone in the dark. A voice spoke to her asking for how strong is her faith and she quietly responds that she can feel the pain around her and the Lord's light is truly not here. She feels that the adults are not true servants to the Lord deep inside of her heart and she wants the Lord to bring judgement onto them.

That voice then declared a mission onto her: Bring all false prophets to justice and into the light so the Lord can judge them.

She came across an abandoned phone one day and while she hides it carefully in the inner covers of her personal Bible, a strange app is the only thing on it...

Initial: Isidora

Saint Isidora the Simple was a Christian Nun who dealt with abuse and mistreatment by other nuns and later was elected Saint by the hermit Saint Pitirim when an angel told him to find an elect vessel full of the grace of God. Rather a woman who wishes to live a simple life under God's guidance, she left the convent to spend the rest of her life in a desert pilgrimage. One of the first "blessed fools" noted in history.

As a persona, she is a large angel woman with red winged materializing from her head during attacks. Smoke and whips made of pure light also materializes with with her magic. While her face is concealed, her body posture stays calm and gives a gentle yet powerful aura. Isidora represents May's strength of dealing with torment and having wisdom even when young.

Isidora specializes in Agi skills along with basic Almighty skills such as Megido and Life/Spirit Drain. She can also inflict the Dizzy aliment with Dazzler/Nocturnal Flash and enhance the chance of laying down alignments with Stagnant Air.

Jequdiel is a Persona who appears made of smoke similar to Isidora. A much larger angel whose staff materializes as a whip for attacks.

Jegudiel gains strengthen Agi and Almighty skills from Isidora. It will gain a Bless resistance and help it's Curse weakness with learning Dodge Curse. It's most powerful skill it will learn is Shining Arrows, which attacks all enemies with light Bless damage from four to eight times, but only when it has endured severe damage.

Form of Rebellion: In the Metaverse, May's form of rebellion will consist of wearing a white dress with a detailed red church-like motif design and a frilled collar with a cross. Her outfit also includes pure white thigh high stockings and matching heels. Other accessories include white lace gloves with red details, a white and red headband matching her dress, and a solid white backpack with angel wings. Giving the appearance of a small angel, it oddly stays perfectly clean no matter what in the Metaverse.

Rules and laws should always be sacred, but when the world is twisted, the Lord can be forgiving. Stealing hearts can be considered "unforgivable", but I think he understands what we are trying to do... I hope... Perhaps this can be considered that we are bringing evil into the light so he can judge them properly.

Reading a verse from the Bible. It used to my own comfort, so if I don't read from it daily, I will feel anxious and upset.

There are too many terrible deeds I have endured. I suppose the worst was when I mistook my cousin's kindness one day and ended up in trouble.

Not everyone in this world has a kind soul. And yet, despite what torture I have endured... I cannot bring myself to hate them. I just... cannot...

There are three things that I wish to achieve: Others to carry on my mission to bring false prophets into the light. A personal peace of mind. And last, change. Change that our efforts do not go in vain.
